– Reconstruction and modernization of WWTP with capacity of 130 670 PE, with nitrogen and phosphorus removal, discharge into a “sensitive zone” and anaerobic sludge stabilization with biogas utilization; Solar installation to cover complete electricity costs of the plant; Preparation of technical assistance for the complete reconstruction of the water supply and sewerage network of the city;
– Partial rehabilitation of main sewer collector to the WWTP – 2 km (total length 10 km); - Agglomeration of Dolna Mitropoliya:
– Rehabilitation of water supply network – 25 km;
– New domestic sewerage network – 24 km;
– New stormwater sewerage network – 1,3 km. - Agglomeration of Trastenik:
– Rehabilitation of water supply network – 37 km;
– New domestic sewerage network – 38 km;
– New domestic sewerage pumping station – 1 pcs.;
– New domestic sewerage collector – 6,5 km;
– New stormwater sewerage network – 1,1 km. - Agglomeration of Bukovlak:
– Rehabilitation of water supply network – 14 km;

Performed activities:
- Preparation of Regional Feasibility Study (RFS) for collection of wastewater from 5 agglomerations of the municipalities of Pleven and Dolna Mitropolia and their treatment in a common WWTP, according to the Jaspers criteria for a “major project”, including:
– Data collection and analysis;
– Assessment of all existing works and projects, including regional master plan;
– Determination of agglomerations;
– Considering the options for centralized and decentralized wastewater treatment;
– Analysis of current situation and projections – drinking water treatment, water supply networks (internal and external), sewerage networks, wastewater treatment;

– Sludge management plan;
– Design parameters;
– Option analysis;
– Aggregated unit costs;
– Project presentation and investments prioritization;
– Financial and economic analysis (Cost-benefit analysis);
– Institutional analysis;
– Environmental impact assessment;
– Procurement strategy and implementation plan;
– Application form elaboration.
